Frontier's fiber internet plans offer some of the best value in the industry, but DSL customers and those missing autopay discounts are paying far more than they should. Here is how to reduce your Frontier bill and take advantage of every available savings opportunity.
Frontier Communications underwent a major transformation after emerging from bankruptcy in 2020 and has since become one of the fastest-growing fiber internet providers in the United States. The company's fiber plans start at $30 per month for 500 Mbps symmetrical speeds and extend up to 5 Gbps, all with no data caps, no monthly equipment rental fees, and no annual contracts. However, Frontier also continues to serve customers on legacy DSL plans that cost $55 per month for maximum speeds of only 140 Mbps, and many of these DSL customers are not aware that fiber may now be available at their address. Additionally, the $10 autopay and paperless billing discount is not applied automatically and must be specifically enrolled in. With Verizon completing its acquisition of Frontier in early 2026, current customers should closely monitor their bills for any pricing changes or new plan structures that could affect their monthly costs.
