Plans start at $30 per month for 300 Mbps and extend up to 5 Gbps fiber at $175 per month, with promotional pricing locked for twelve months. The challenge for Astound customers is that post-promotional price increases vary dramatically by region. In Texas on the Grande network, a 300 Mbps plan can jump from $30 to $78 after the first year. In Houston on the enTouch network, the same plan may increase to $148 per month. These regional pricing differences are not always clearly communicated, and many customers discover the increase only when they receive their first post-promotional bill. Equipment charges of $14 to $20 monthly for modem and router rental add further costs, and West Coast customers on the Wave network face data caps on plans below 1 Gbps with overage charges that can inflate monthly bills significantly.
